The 1,000 to 1 Story
The International Medical Research Collaborative (IMRCo) began in 2014 when a scholar from a distinguished overseas medical school contacted Dr. Morin and me.
This student was seeking to arrange an American summer medical rotation and had already contacted over 1,000 US doctors and medical institutions. The scholar had excellent educational credentials and was professional and scientifically gifted. Yet +1,000 emails had failed to elicit a single medical rotation.
Dr. Morin and I responded by creating the International Medical Research Collaborative (IMRCo) consisting of the Personalized Orientation Period, Medical Rotation Period, and Concluding Summary Session for this scholar and for other bright international students with the same needs. Knowing one key advocate is your 1,000 to 1 advantage. It is connecting your future to the American medical community. IMRCo was established to provide this critical connection for aspiring physicians, medical students, and medical researchers around the world.
